The Center for Effective Philanthropy conducted an in-depth analysis of Susan Scott's grants and found that she has given away more than $100 million in the last eight years, giving her the No.

1 spot on its list of the world's most generous philanthropists, Fortune reports.

Scott's latest grants, announced Thursday, include $10 million to Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, $9 million to the Entrepreneur Fund, $8 million to Propel Nonprofits, $3 million to the Wind River Development Fund, $12 million to the People Fund, $30 million to the Housing Trust Silicon Valley, $22 million to the Nonprofit Finance Fund, and $22 million to the Opportunity@Work Fund, which aims to increase economic mobility for workers who don't have a bachelor's degree but are "skilled through alternative routes," according to a press release.

Scott's giving "has become one of the most idolized and closely watched philanthropists in the world," according to the Center for Effective Philanthropy.
